Okay, so where is the bell? It feels strange to leave. The first week or so was hard, but then this place felt like home. Now I have to leave again! But I am sure I will be back. Good Bless!
I have truly loved my stay here at Miguel de Cevantes School. It has proven to me the world can be one big wonderful family. All the teachers are great especially mine – Thanks Christian. And thanks to Sary, Robert, Ilsy y Nohemi for making it feel like home. Sary, you are great!
So when I entered the school I was tired traveler- Sary was at the door with a bright smile and a warm welcome. – The school was such a friendly warm place to stay that my “I am only going to stay one night in Xela turned into 8 days”. I loved every minute of being in the school. Thanks for such a great week to all whom I have met and especially Sary and staff.
I suppose no one truly knows where this crazy journey will take no one…But no one is upset when some one comes along and its not just anyone. Usually some one ends up being the right one… and Sary is truly someone. To Sary and all my new family: Thank you so much for all the love you poured into my life. Te quiero mucho!!
I was only able to stay in Xela if or a short while. But the Miguel de Cervantes Spanish School will be one of my fondest memories of Xela. I attended Spanish classes for a few days, and now I will go out to the rest of Central America and practice what I have learned. Thank you for the experience!!

I am so happy that I came on this trip and to this school! All the people in the school are lovely, but I feel extra extra fortunate to have had Leticia as my teacher. The hours I spent with her were all very happy and interesting and fun. It was all pure pleasure to be with her. I hope she enjoyed all the walking around and constant chatting also. Just what I needed and wanted. The excursions were good smooth, in terms of the going and coming. Thank you for the pleasant experience and good care. I will give you good recommendations!!
Sary and everyone else! Thank you so much for this wonderful experience here in Xela! I have loved everything about it – the country and especially the people. My teacher was a perfect fit and we had so much fun together! Thank you as well for arranging so many activities and trips – I loved getting to know the area more. This school is wonderful and I will definitely be recommending it others… and hopefully coming back myself. Thanks again!

Sary, Thanks for everything you have done for us these past four weeks. You have treated us like part of your family. Keep in touch and hopefully our paths will cross again in the future. It has been one hell of an experience living at Miguel de Cervantes.

I want to thank and congratulate Sary and the amazing teachers and staff at Miguel de Cervantes. I have attended a number of schools in the Xela area. I believe Miguel de Cervantes is Xela’s best kept secret. The teachers and staff were very knowledgeable and professional, yet considerate and friendly. They took an active interest in my life, which only gave me more confidence with the language. I needed to learn Spanish because I am a teacher back in the states and most of my students are Latinos. I must say I was surprised at my progress. When I arrived in Xela I knew little to no Spanish. I am now able to have conversations with my students. Thank you for everything!
Thank you very much! Michal arrived here a week before I came straight from San Marcos and with no time we felt at home. The staff here is warm and very helpful. They care for you! Wait for the Friday lunch it is fabulous to taste different cuisines from the world that the tenants cook. In short, you got to the right place in Xela to stay! Kisses and hugs
Sary, Many thanks for all the wonderful times I have had here in Xela I absolutely love this school and very sad to leave but I must get out and use my new language skills. You have created something amazing! I have now finished my second visit to Xela. Once again, my brain is stretched –hopefully because there is more Spanish in it. The school, the city, the guesthouse and especially your staff is great. Christian was again patient, fun, smart, friendly and welcoming. I hope and intend to come back again next year for more classes, more travel and a trek to San Cristobal for Dia de Diablo
